Drone Tool

The Drone Tool processes several individual images, for example of a drone, into a point cloud, textured mesh and orthophoto.

Usage of the Drone Tool

• Click on the Wrench-Symbol
• Open the "Drone Tool"
• Enter a name (can be changed later)
• Choose your Coordinate System
• Choose the desired Point Cloud Quality
  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
• Choose the desired Orthophoto/DSM Resolution
  • Low (10cm/Pixel)
  • Medium (5cm/Pixel)
  • High (1cm/Pixel)
• Upload the images by clicking on the blue “+” (Plus)-button
• Wait for all the photos to be uploaded
• Click “Save & Process”
• The processing status can be displayed via the symbol in the top right corner.
• Once the processing is finished, you will receive an email

Change settings after processing

• Right-click on the "Drone-Preparation" folder
• Open Drone Tool
• Change the settings
• Click “Save & Process”
• Once the processing is finished, you will receive an email

Delete incorrectly uploaded images

• Select the image to be deleted with the left mouse button
• Click on the red trash-bin icon
