A ''Scene'' can be thought of as a point of interest in place and in time.

A ''Scene'' is a group of data that describes a specific state of the viewer. A state includes everything that has an influence on what the user sees at the moment. Examples are camera position, camera orientation, point cloud colorization, or which data is currently visible.

The ''Scene'' is also ideal for visualizing construction progress. You can create a scene for scans of day X and another one for scans of day Y.
